Minimally Invasive Hysterectomy

Hysterectomies are one of the most common surgeries for women. Most women are candidates for Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic Hysterectomies even if they have previously had a Caesarean Section. Supracervical and Total Hysterectomies can be performed via Laparoscopy. The advantages to a minimally invasive hysterectomy over a traditional or vaginal hysterectomy are a speedier recovery and less pain. The average recovery time of a traditional hysterectomy can be six weeks or more whereas the recovery time for a minimally invasive hysterectomy is expected to be two weeks or less. Our providers are very experienced in the area of Minimally Invasive Hysterectomies.
